November 3, 2012: First Time Homebuyer Seminar. Ulster Savings Bank and the Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO) would like to invite the public to their "Fast Track Education Saturday for First Time Homebuyers" seminar on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 10:00am – 2:00pm. This FREE informational seminar, which will provide details on the First Home Club program and other lending strategies and options for first time homebuyers, will be held at Ulster Savings Bank's headquarters at 180 Schwenk Drive, Kingston.

October 24, 2012: Healthy Housing Workshop for Landlords
Landlords will learn how to improve their profits while providing healthy homes in a three-hour workshop offered by Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO) and Ulster County Department of Health (UCDOH) on Wed., 10/24/12. The Healthy Housing seminar, part of efforts to promote National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, will be at the Kirkland at 2 Main Street in Kingston from 9 – 12:30 pm. The program is delivered by the Childhood Lead Poisoning Primary Prevention Program (CLPPPP). Pre-registration for the workshop is encouraged (mmarrero@rupco.org or 331-9860) but is not mandatory. Refreshments will be served, written materials will be available, and all presenters will take questions both during and after the workshops.
