Kingston, NY -- 3/9/2011 —Rural Ulster Preservation Company announced this week that Frank Paulo has joined its staff as Director of Finance. Paulo's work will include a variety of different projects in the financial realm and support planning functions for the financial health of the agency.
New to the non-profit world, Paulo came to RUPCO from Dutchess County where he worked for nine years in the corporate sector with Associated Aircraft Group.
The Dutchess County resident, who earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Marist College has been warmly welcomed by the RUPCO staff.
"I am very excited to have attracted Frank to the team," said RUPCO Executive Director Kevin O'Connor. "Frank brings a great deal of private sector accounting experience and his knowledge and background will be extremely useful as RUPCO continues to grow and diversify to meet our mission."
As for his own excitement about becoming part of the RUPCO team, Paulo is eager to learn his role and settle in. "I've been a volunteer fire fighter for 17 years, and for 17 years I've been trying to help people. That's what I liked about this place. That's what they do here. They help the people and they help the community."
