Funding Available for Handicapped Modifications for Owner Occupied and Rental Properties
Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO), in partnership with the Resource Center for Accessible Living (RCAL), announce available funding for accessibility modifications for owner occupied and rental properties. The funding is from the first round of funding from New York State 's new Access to Home program launched by the Governor earlier this year in his State of the State address. The program is designed to help individuals with disabilities and the frail elderly stay in their homes and avoid institutional care. Households earning up to 50% of Ulster County's median income are eligible to apply.
