Welcomes New Director of NeighborWorks ® HomeOwnership Center
RUPCO announces the hire of Kathy Germain as their new Director
of HomeOwnership for their NeighborWorks ® HomeOwnership Center
. Ms. Germain has an extensive background in grant writing and grant
administration, specifically in the area of affordable housing and
homeless housing assistance. She currently leads three counties
in their Homeless Strategies. Having previously worked for Shingebiss
Associates, Inc. Ms. Germain has worked closely with RUPCO over
the last five years. “We are extremely fortunate to have someone
with Kathy's background and community connections to lead our NeighborWorks
® HomeOwnership Center ,” said Kevin O'Connor RUPCO's Executive
Director. “I've had the good fortune to work with Kathy for a number
of years and I've admired her skills and talents. I know the important
work of our NeighborWorks ® HomeOwnership Center will flourish
under Kathy's leadership.”
As
Director of the NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center , Ms. Germain
will oversee and administer RUPCO's unique combination of services
including homeownership, housing rehab, and counseling programs.
Ms.
Germain is an active member of the community, serving as a school
board member for the Kingston City Schools Consolidated District,
and a member of the Kingston City School District Diversity Cadre.
