Rural Ulster Preservation Company (RUPCO) hosted a house warming and welcome home celebration for seven families devastated by the Ulster County floods on Monday, November 20, 2006, at 11am, at Spring Lake Mobile Home Park, Lucas Avenue Ext., in Kingston.

Long Awaited Day of Celebration

RUPCO closed on the financing with Key Bank and its subsidiary, Key Community Development Corporation and the City of Kingston transferred the deed of the Kirkland Hotel on August 10, 2006. The Kirkland Hotel is on the national and state register of historic places.
